Michael Gallup Set For Surgery On Torn ACL
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) will undergo surgery on his torn ACL next Thursday. He suffered a clean ACL tear in the Week 17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. According to the team's physician Dr. Dan Cooper, there is optimism the Cowboys wide receiver will be ready for the start of the 2022 season. Gallup will become an unrestricted free agent, and NFL teams interested in signing the wide receiver will closely monitor his recovery progress. The 25-year-old caught 35 passes for 445 yards and two touchdowns over nine games in 2021. Gallup will look to recover fully, and barring any setbacks, should draw plenty of interest from teams during the offseason. Stay tuned.
