C.J. Uzomah Listed As DNP For Wednesday's Estimated Practice
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's estimated practice report. The 29-year-old suffered an MCL sprain in the AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He has a chance to be ready for the Super Bowl in two weeks against the Los Angeles Rams. Uzomah will look to practice somehow, but the tight end's status for the Super Bowl most likely won't be known until next week. Drew Sample would be the Bengals' primary pass-catching tight for the Super Bowl if Uzomah cannot suit up. Sample caught one pass on two targets for four yards in last Sunday's win.
