3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Caleb Martin (Achilles) has been cleared to suit up for Saturday's contest vs. the Hornets after a one-game absence due to a sore left Achilles. Martin's return comes as Max Strus (quad) will be unavailable, paving the way for the wing to likely see a handful of additional minutes off the bench. Martin has been something of a confounding DFS asset to peg over his last eight games with three single-digit scoring outings and one climbing as high as 26 points. The 26-year-old will have added motivation Saturday facing his former team, whom he spent the first two seasons of his career with before arriving in Miami, where he has shot a career-best 50.7% overall in 2021-22.--Jesse Borek
