Tyler Herro Will Miss Monday’s Contest
3 years agoMiami Heat point/shooting guard Tyler Herro (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Wizards as he battles a sore right knee. Herro has proven to be an adept points producer during his third season, having scored in double figures in 17 consecutive games en route to averaging 20.1 PPG thus far in 2021-22. His absence opens up all members of the Heat's second unit for elevated offensive duties, particularly Max Strus, who should see an increase in usage. Herro's absence doesn't sound like a long-term issue, with his next chance to take the floor coming Thursday vs. New Orleans.
