Jared Goff Eyes Improvement Heading Into 2022 Season
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had an uninspiring first fantasy campaign with his new franchise, even as he completed a career-high 67.2 percent of his passes. Sacked a career-high 35 times, Goff was unable to find the same success that he did while with the Rams, where he went to two Pro Bowls. Entering another off-season with Detroit, Goff said via Tim Twentyman, "There were times this year that weren't my best. There were times that I was able to show what I'm capable of and be out there and be my best. Hope to do that quite a bit more, more consistently." Goff goes on to mention Amon-Ra St. Brown being like "Deebo Samuel" heading into 2022, with the two likely making up a vital connection if the signal caller is to return to form in year two with the Lions.
