3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) has been rehabbing from surgery and aims to return in time for minicamp in May or June. He tore his ACL during practice in mid-November. The 29-year-old has stayed involved with the team despite being sidelined. "Initially, you're fresh out of surgery or being injured, and you're like, 'Man, I was just doing that a few weeks ago, just making plays,'" said Woods. "But really, I felt like I was able to get past that and really be able to enjoy this whole playoff experience. "I'm a part of this. I feel like (I'm able) to look at it from that perspective and not really out of it. Flipping it, like, 'You're right, the team wouldn't be here without some of the plays that you contributed on, some of the touchdowns, some blocking. Yeah, I didn't play all 17, but I'm a part of this championship team — hopefully we win it, but there's gonna be a stone in (that ring) for me, for my work." The veteran caught 45 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns over nine games in 2021. He will focus on his rehab and look to be fully recovered from his torn ACL by minicamp. Woods signed a four-year, $68 million contract with LA in September of 2020 and should have an integral role in the Rams offense in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
