3 years agoHouston Rockets small forward Eric Gordon (heel) has been cleared to return to action for Monday's game against the Jazz. Gordon had missed Houston's past three outings with a heel ailment, which allowed Garrison Mathews to slide into a larger offensive role; with the veteran sharpshooter back, Mathews figures to see his DFS appeal correspondingly slide. Gordon enters play Monday shooting a career-best 49.1 percent from the floor overall, including a gaudy 42.7 percent from deep. The 33-year-old continues to carry perpetual season-long appeal in category formats due to his propensity to knock down triples.--Jesse Borek
