3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers small forward Lauri Markkanen (ankle) has been deemed unavailable to suit up for Tuesday's contest vs. Atlanta as he works his way back from a sprained right ankle. The move isn't surprising, as Markkanen will now get the benefit of additional time off surrounding the All-Star break. Dean Wade and Cedi Osman have been the direct beneficiaries of Markkanen's absence, although his 11.3 field goal attempts have been distributed among the starting five as well. Fantasy managers who have held onto the 24-year-old this long are best served waiting for a post-All-Star break return, with his first chance coming Feb. 24 against the Pistons.--Jesse Borek
