3 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Charlie Morton (leg) said he is "mostly caught up" to where he would usually be at this point of February. The 38-year-old underwent surgery on October 28 after breaking his leg in Game 1 of the 2021 World Series against the Houston Astros. He also mentions that he wouldn't know more until he gets into the rigors of spring training. In September, the veteran right-hander was rewarded with a one-year, $20 million extension after posting a 14-6 record, 3.34 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 216:58 K: BB over 185 2/3 innings in 2021. Morton, when fully healthy, is expected to lead the Braves' starting rotation and is being drafted among the top-30 starters with an ADP of 92.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
