Rajon Rondo Shifts Into Starting Five Thursday
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Rajon Rondo has been elevated into the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Pistons with Darius Garland (back) and Caris LeVert (foot) ruled out. Both injured players sound as if they are on track for a multi-game absence, thereby elevating Rondo into both nightly DFS and short-term season-long consideration. The veteran's production since joining the Cavs has been sporadic, although he has combined to score 32 points in the two outings in which he played more than 30 minutes. Also helping his DFS cause Thursday is the matchup with Detroit, who has allowed the third-most points per game to opposing PGs this season, per FanDuel scoring.
