T.Y. Hilton Could Return For 2022 Season
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has not yet made a call one way or the other as it pertains to his playing status in 2022, but per Colts general manager Chris Ballard, Hilton has been leaning toward suiting up. Hilton, who was drafted in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by Indianapolis, has spent his entire career with the franchise. Injuries have slowed the veteran over the past three years, as he logged career lows with 23 catches, 331 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in '21. His fantasy value will be tied to whom the Colts deploy under center, with Carson Wentz's status as the team's signal caller still very much up in the air. With Michael Pittman Jr. having emerged as Indy's top pass-catching threat, Hilton -- once an electric deep threat -- is likely to find himself available on the waiver wire in most season-long formats if he does eventually choose to return next year.
