Stephen Curry Drops 34 Points In Defeat
3 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry finished with 34 points after firing up 16 three-point attempts during Tuesday's loss to the Timberwolves. Curry enjoyed unquestioned No. 1 scoring option status with Klay Thompson (illness) sidelined, as he added five rebounds and four assists across his 33 minutes. While Curry knocked down five triples, the rest of the Warriors combined to go 8-for-29 from distance. Curry, who has cut a nearly unsustainable pace for himself behind the arc throughout his career, sits at 37.5% on the season from three-point range, on pace for his lowest mark across a full season. He remains a fantasy juggernaut due to his shooting prowess, especially when Thompson is not in the mix. Curry's next matchup comes Thursday vs. Dallas, who has held him to 6-for-29 shooting from behind the arc in three outings this year.
