Washington Plans To Meet With Terry McLaurin About Extension
3 years agoThe Washington Commanders plan to meet with wide receiver Terry McLaurin's agent about a contract extension this week. He's entering 2022 in the final year of his rookie deal. The 26-year-old caught 77 passes for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns over 17 games in 2021. He's recorded back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns. Fantasy managers expected more out of the Ohio State product after he hauled in 87 catches for 1,118 receiving yards in 2020. Spotty quarterback play led to the Washington wideout not having a massive season in 2021. If the Commanders can upgrade at quarterback this offseason, McLaurin has the game-breaking ability to vault into the next tier of elite receivers.
