3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins reportedly are reworking defensive back Xavien Howard's contract to remain with the team in 2022. Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said, "he made a promise to revisit the deal after adjusting it last summer." The 28-year-old racked up 50 tackles, a sack, five interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two defensive touchdowns over 16 games in 2021. He requested a trade last offseason but agreed to stay with the Dolphins on a reworked contract. Howard and Miami will meet to renegotiate a new contract in 2022. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
