Mike Trout Fully Recovered From Calf Injury
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (calf) will be a full participant whenever Spring Training begins. In mid-May, he suffered a calf strain and was limited to 36 games in 2021. According to Trout's agent Craig Landis, the star outfielder is "100%" and is expected to be a full participant when spring training begins." He was close to returning in September, but with the Angels out of playoff contention, Trout decided the risk of aggravating the injury going into the offseason wasn't worth it. Overall, the 30-year-old slashed .333/.466/.624 with eight home runs, 18 RBI, 23 runs scored, and two stolen bases over 146 plate appearances. Trout should have no limitations once the MLB season begins, and with a clean bill of health, is a borderline first pick in upcoming fantasy drafts.
