Anthony Rendon A "Full-Go" Once MLB Lockout Ends
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (hip) should be "full-go" once the lockout ends and camp begins. In early August, the 31-year-old underwent surgery to repair a right hip impingement, ending an injury-plagued season. According to Mike DiGiovanna of the LA Times, Rendon should be a "full-go" when the lockout ends. Rendon slashed .240/.329/.382 with six home runs, 34 RBI and 24 runs scored over 249 plate appearances in 2021. He is in the third year of a seven-year, $245 million deal and is expected to hit in the heart of the order between Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout. Fantasy managers can expect Rendon to be fully recovered from his hip surgery and with a clean bill of health, he is a borderline top-10 third baseman heading into fantasy drafts.
