Adrian Peterson, Stefon Diggs To Have Big Days vs Bears?

The Minnesota Vikings will take on the Chicago Bears in Sunday's game at Soldier Field.  The Vikings enter the game on a two game win streak, while the Bears enter the game fresh off of a bye week.

These two division rivals will square off for the first time this season, but they have mutual opponents in the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.  The Vikings beat the Lions twice already this season, while the Bears lost to them in week six.  Both teams, however, own a win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Vikings offense has be recharged lately thanks to the emergence of rookie wide receiver Stefon Diggs.  Diggs has been nothing short of brilliant since taking over a starting role, catching 19 passes for 324 yards and one touchdown in three games.  Diggs has been a favorite target for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and has proven to be not only a playmaker, but a deep threat that the Vikings have been lacking all season.

Vikings Running Back Adrian Peterson will face a Bears defense that hasn't given up a rushing touchdown in their last four games.  History paints a different picture, however, as Peterson is averaging 116 yards per game against the Bears in his career.

Peterson has failed to reach 100+ yards or a touchdown in his last two games, but I expect that to change against the Bears this week.  In Peterson's last two games against the Bears in 2013, he ran for 311 yards on 61 carries.  I'm expecting a big time performance from him today.

If you own Stefon Diggs or Adrian Peterson in your fantasy league or play DFS, you need to start both of these guys.  As a whole, the Bears defense is inconsistent and prone to giving up points and big time plays.  Add in the fact that the Vikings offense has been hot lately, and you have a recipe for an offensive explosion from this young Vikings team.

I'm expecting Diggs to have approximately 85 yards receiving and a touchdown, and I expect Peterson to rush for over 150 yards and a touchdown.
