ANALYSIS: After eight seasons playing big-man-ball, Brook decided enough was enough all the way back in 2017, when his three-point attempts jumped from 0.2 per game to 5.2 while still in Brooklyn. From that point on, Brook has been stretching the floor day in and day out and he's been able to keep up a relatively good 34.5 percent from long range on that volume.
Yes, Brook Lopez is a pure-center. These are all players with center-eligibility in Yahoo leagues entering 2021 to average more 3pa per game than Brook (4.8) last season: Marcus Morris, Pascal Siakam, Blake Griffin, Markkanen, Jaren Jackson, Love, Porzingis, KAT, Bertans. Of those, only KAT is not eligible at PF, same as Brook.
Not only does Lopez give you plenty of long-rage goodies for a true biggie, but he also is a monster at blocking shots. Lopez's 2.4 bpg last season ranked second only to Hassan Whiteside's 2.9, and Lopez also added 4.6 rpg and 1.5 apg to his average stat line. Don't overpay for Lopez, but don't let him slip a lot if you don't want to get snipped and lose on a very great asset to roster in any league you're part of.
