Eric Decker optimistic, John Brown likely in, Dez Bryant expected to return

According to Ian Rapoport, Eric Decker is optimistic he will be able to play (knee soreness) in the Jets 4 pm eastern matchup against the Oakland Raiders. With Decker in the lineup, Ryan Fitzpatrick is one of the more favorable streaming and cheap quarterback options in daily fantasy.

With Decker active, he should definitely be in your lineup, as he is averaging 16.26 PPR points per game and has yet to score less than 11 PPR points in a game this season. Brandon Marshall gets a small bump down with Decker in the lineup as he likely would have been peppered with targets if Decker had not been able to play.

According to Adam Schefter, Cardinals wide receiver John Brown is likely to play, but the team wants him to test his hamstring in pregame before they make a decision. This is also a 4 pm eastern game, so if you are starting Brown, be sure to have a backup plan playing in a later game on your bench.

If Brown plays, it is a downgrade for Michael Floyd, making it tough to start him outside of deeper leagues. Projections for Larry Fitzgerald don't change much either way. The Cardinals play a Cleveland defense that has been middle of the pack against wide receivers, allowing the 15th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

According to Ian Rapoport, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will play today against the Seattle Seahawks, will wear a custom orthotic on his formerly broken foot, and will be on a pitch count. Bryant hasn't played since Week 1, and with the limited snap count, I am starting Dez Bryant over wide receivers ranked in the 24-30 range, but opting to bench him where I have other top 24 options.

The return of Bryant doesn't mean much for Matt Cassel from a fantasy perspective. Cassel should still be on your bench or waiver wires in a tough matchup against a Seattle defense that has allowed the 8th fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Terrence Williams and Cole Beasley are both now less attractive as starting options with Dez Bryant in the lineup. With Bryant back in, it is a slight downgrade for the Seattle defense/special teams this week, but they are still a must start against a Matt Cassel led offense.
