FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/11/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Welcome to NBA Tuesday night. We have just five games on the board with a ton of different options to pay up for. We're looking at Brandon Ingram being questionable and a ton of other injuries to pay attention to. While it may not be the biggest slate we've seen, there seems to be more than the usual amount of options to consider. The Rockets and Celtics will face off in the game of the night, though there are multiple games with 220+ over/unders. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments if we want to take down some serious cash.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/11/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, POR @ NO ($9,800)

Damian Lillard has been a man on fire of late and the matchup with the Pelicans doesn’t get much better. Lillard has been over 50 FanDuel points in back-to-back games with 33 and 42 points on top of a stuffed stat sheet. Those matchups against the Heat and Jazz were much tougher and he should have a field day against a Pelicans squad that ranks 26th in the league against point guards. They play fast and Lonzo Ball isn’t a great defender, nor do they have anyone to protect the rim. Lillard is my favorite point guard to pay up for.

Marcus Smart - SG, BOS @ HOU ($5,100)

Smart is going to be in there for 30+ minutes as he’s going to draw a lot of James Harden. Smart can put up fantasy points in a hurry and he thrives in fast-paced matchups. Smart never holds a high usage %, but he seems to be involved in nearly every play and Smart isn’t afraid to shoot the ball. He’s too cheap on FanDuel at $5.1k and I’m a big fan in both cash games and tournaments.

Lonnie Walker - SG, SA @ OKC ($3,500)

DeMar DeRozan sat out last game and Lonnie Walker drew the start. He didn’t have a great game from the field, but he did add five rebounds and four assists to reach 20 FanDuel points. If DeRozan is once again out, Walker is minimum-priced on FanDuel and hard to avoid as a value play. His somewhat disappointing game last time out should keep the ownership low and he opens up a ton elsewhere. Walker matches up well with the Thunder and their multiple guard set, so I could see him playing close to 30 minutes and delivering around a fantasy point per minute. You can do better if DeRozan is ruled in.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Zion Williamson - PF, NO vs. POR ($7,200)

Williamson has now been over 30 FanDuel points in five straight and six of his last seven. He’s never going to see a ridiculous amount of playing time, but Zion has proven extreme consistency and the matchup with Portland is a good one. They don’t have anyone to contend with Williamson and I can see him dropping another 35-40 FanDuel points with ease. Brandon Ingram is also questionable for this game, so we may see Williams draw an even higher usage % than we're used to. Power forward is a weaker position and locking in Zion gives you a strong sense of safety. I like Jayson Tatum here as well with a bit more upside.

Gordon Hayward - SF, BOS @ HOU ($6,300)

Hayward has been an animal of late and there’s no way a matchup with the Houston Rockets will be the disappointing one, right? We’ve gone through worse nightmares with Hayward in these last two years, but it seems like he’s truly turned the corner this season and has a concrete role in this offense. The usage rate is sitting just over 20% for Hayward on the season, but that number rises by nearly 7% in the last month. The Rockets rank 30th against the small forward position and don't have anyone to matchup with both Hayward and Brown. His price is fair on FanDuel and I’m a big fan in all formats, though I also like Jaylen Brown as a pivot and more of a GPP play.

Thaddeus Young - PF, CHI @ WAS ($5,600)

Thad Young has now been over 30 minutes in four of his last five games and it’s hard to see that change until the Bulls return some big men from injury. There is just nobody viable to fill these PF minutes and Young does a consistent, mistake-free job. The matchup with Washington is as good as it gets and Young is going to be around 25-30 fantasy points for the fourth straight game. The upside against the Wizards is also huge.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Steven Adams - C, OKC vs. SA ($5,200)

There are a couple of ways to go on FanDuel at Center, but Steven Adams is certainly my favorite for the price. You don’t need me to tell you the upside on Embiid and Whiteside is huge and you should play either if you can fit them. We’ll instead look a bit more affordable to Adams and his price is not only low, but the matchup is strong and there is upside here. The Spurs are weak in the paint and Adams is going to play 288-32 minutes of productive basketball. For just over $5k, it’s fair to expect 25-30 fantasy points.
