ANALYSIS: Former San Antonio Spur Marco Belinelli has been thrust into action for the Kings with the injuries to Rajon Rondo, Omri Casspi, and (for a couple days) Ben McLemore. He is making the most of it. Over his last four games, Belinelli has averaged 20.5 points, 3.5 boards, 1.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.8 3-pointers. Those are pretty solid scoring numbers that make Belinelli rosterable in pretty much all leagues while he is getting steady minutes.

While the biggest thing that Belinelli brings to the table is his prolific three-point shooting, his contributions in other categories give him added value. Even if Rondo is ready to go on Thursday, Belinelli is still likely to see around 30 minutes of action. He's likely going to record some treys no matter how many minutes he plays, but if his playing time is up around 30 minutes he becomes a nice option to plug in at a UTIL slot. Back injuries can be tricky, so if Belinelli keeps playing well, the Kings may not rush Casspi back.
