4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi stayed hot at the plate on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers. Mondesi went 4-for-4 with two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases. He is now slashing .300/.349/.513 in September and has 14 stolen bases in the month. Mondesi clearly just needed some time to settle in this year. It's unfortunate the season has to end just when Mondesi is at his hottest, but it's certainly a promising sign heading into next year. Mondesi currently leads the majors with 22 stolen bases.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
