6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Adam Jones made his first National League appearance in Thursday's 12-5 loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers atop manager Torey Lovullo's lineup. He finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run in his team debut. The result wasn't what the Diamondbacks were looking for, but it was a nice showing for Jones. He should be a force and mainstay at the top of Arizona's lineup. Jones has plenty left in the tank, and he could surprise some National League pitchers in his first few looks as they're not as familiar with him.--Daniel Dobish
