Adrian Peterson Leads Titans With 40 Yards Rushing
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 40 yards on nine attempts while catching both of his targets for four yards in Sunday's 22-13 loss to the Houston Texans. He led the Titans in both rushing attempts and rushing yards in the Week 11 loss. The 36-year-old was second with 15 offensive snaps in the Titans backfield, only behind Dontrell Hilliard (50). Peterson is in a running back by committee with Foreman, Hilliard, and McNichols, who was out in Week 11 with a concussion. Titans running back D'Onta Foreman led the team in rushing attempts in Week 10 but logged seven carries and was third in offensive snaps among the three backs. The Titans backfield has been tough to figure out since star RB Derrick Henry has been sidelined and is a situation to avoid against the New England Patriots in Week 12.
