AJ Pollock Out For Second Straight Day
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder AJ Pollock (foot) had a large multi-colored bruise on his foot on Wednesday after fouling a pitch off his foot on Tuesday, and he remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday for the second straight game against the Kansas City Royals. Fantasy managers should consider the 34-year-old to be day-to-day for now. In his first year with the Pale Hose, he's slashing .235/.284/.348 with only five home runs, 36 RBI, 35 runs scored and one stolen base in 334 plate appearances over 91 games. Eloy Jimenez is starting in left field and hitting third on Thursday against Royals right-hander Zack Greinke. Jimenez is a must-start in single-year formats with his .292/.329/.454 slash line and six homers and 22 RBI in 130 at-bats this year.
