Al Horford Contributes Across The Board In Win

4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Al Horford's first season with the team has been underwhelming thus far, but he was highly productive versus the Pistons on Wednesday. In 29 minutes of action, he scored 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field and knocked down four of his six long-range attempts. Horford also grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out six assists and blocked two shots in the 124-106 Philadelphia victory. The 76ers expected performances of this caliber from him to occur more often, considering they signed Horford to a massive four-year deal this past summer. While the 33-year-old was exceptional, he needs to prove that he can produce more consistently before owners consider adding him if/when the NBA season resumes.--Jesse Cinquini
