Alex Kirilloff Raking At Alternate Site

4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Alex Kirilloff has been raking at the team's alternate training site and could get a call-up soon to provide a useful bat off the bench for the first-place team in the American League Central. Kirilloff is unlikely to be a must-own in mixed leagues until 2021 or beyond, especially because there isn't a starting job available immediately with Eddie Rosario, Byron Buxton and Max Kepler in the outfield and Nelson Cruz at designated hitter. However, he's definitely worth stashing in dynasty/keeper formats as one of the best pure hitters in the minor leagues. MLB Pipeline's No. 34 prospect was slowed by injuries in 2019, which could make him available to roster in much deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
