7 years agoDetroit Lions running backs Ameer Abdullah and Dwayne Washington are firmly on the roster bubble heading into training camp after the team signed LeGarrette Blount in free agency and added Kerryon Johnson in the draft. Blount, Johnson and Theo Riddick are locks, and if Detroit keeps a fullback, Abdullah, Washington and Zach Zenner could be fighting for one spot. Abdullah has the advantage for the last spot because he has starting experience, can catch the ball out of the backfield and was one of the best kickoff returners in the NFL as a rookie. Washington's skill set too closely resembles that of both Blount and Johnson. Either way, none of the backs on the bubble in Detroit are worth your attention in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
