5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Andre Patton scored the team's only offensive touchdown on Sunday when he made an easy 24-yard touchdown grab late in the second quarter against the Saints. Patton snuck behind the defense when the Saints blitzed Cardale Jones, and he was wide open when Jones made a strong throw in the face of the pressure. Patton has lived on the team's practice squad the last two years, and with the top end of the receiving corps set with Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Travis Benjamin, Patton is one of a handful of receivers vying for the final spot or two.
