6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner improved to 2-1 after Monday’s 12-4 win over the A’s. Cashner pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits (including two home runs) and a walk with one strikeout. While the win was nice, Cashner’s start provided little in terms of fantasy value. The 32-year-old now has a poor 5.28 ERA with just seven strikeouts and eight walks in 15 1/3 innings. He is of little use to fantasy players at this time, especially since his next scheduled start is at the Red Sox.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
