6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis rolled up 48 points to go along with 17 rebounds across 43 minutes in Friday's 114-112 victory against the Dallas Mavericks. He also added four assists, two steals and two blocked shots while knocking down 20-for-32 from the field. He has managed 275 points and 120 rebounds across the past eight games. In the past 30 years, the only other NBA player to reach those numbers over an eight-game span within a season was Shaquille O'Neal in March 2000 as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. Fantasy owners will hope 'The Brow' has something left when the Houston Rockets come calling on Saturday night.--Daniel Dobish
