6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis finished Wednesday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks with 27 points and 11 rebounds, but could have had an even bigger night if not for two separate trips to the locker room which limited him to just 29 minutes on the floor. Without Nikola Mirotic and Julius Randle, Davis was the key to the Pelicans’ offense, finishing 10-for-18 from the field while knocking down four threes. He added three assists, three blocks and two steals, producing another monster stat line, even if it was an abbreviated one. He could be in line for another such performance Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers, where DFS owners may find it useful to check the injury updates on his teammates prior to tip-off.--Jesse Borek
