7 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Austin Hays (ankle) received an injection this week and will take a week off before resuming baseball activities. Hays is the team's No. 2 prospect, according to MLB.com. He's played in just 43 games with Double-A this year due to injury, though, while he's hit just .224 with six home runs, 18 RBI, five steals and 22 runs scored for Bowie. It's unclear if he'll be an option for the floundering Orioles in the second half of the season, but he'll definitely need to get healthy first.
