5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Austin Slater continued to hit in Friday's 10-7 win over the Brewers, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run. The 26-year-old has been on fire since getting called up to the Giants, posting a ridiculous .389/.450/1.111 slash line with three HR and 11 RBI in just 20 plate appearances. The sample size is small, so these stats will not stand over time. Further, Slater has yet to show that he has significant fantasy value to offer over the course of his career, so fantasy players should not get too excited by his early numbers until he proves that he can back them up over time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
