3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews scored a goal and assist on Wednesday night versus the Los Angeles Kings. The Matthews goal was during a four goal second-period outburst from the Leafs. He snapped a two game point drought but continued his run of a high shot volume. Matthews again totaled six shots on goal but also had a couple of blocked shots as well. The center now stands at 17 points in 18 games. He stands to gain more points as the California trip continues. His next stop is San Jose on Friday night. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
