6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Avisail Garcia said he was surprised he was released by the Chicago White Sox in late November, and is uncertain why he was cut loose. Garcia will return to Guaranteed Rate Field on Monday, facing the Chicago White Sox as a visitor. "I'm happy where I am right now," he said. "Really good spot. Really, really good. Good guys, good clubhouse, good trainers." Garcia hasn't been really good early on, going just 4-for-24 (.167) with two walks, six strikeouts and zero RBI. Right now he is only worth a look in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues. Maybe a return to his old stomping grounds will get him going.--Daniel Dobish
