4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. is playing at the team's alternate site at Northwest Arkansas, according to Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio. Witt had been in Arizona preparing for the minor league season, but now with the injury to Adalberto Mondesi, Witt has joined the team's taxi squad. This could mean that managers will get to see Witt in the majors sooner than later, as he looked good this spring where he slashed .289/.325/.526 with three homers in 14 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
