4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Mariners. Belt went 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in the season opener on Thursday, and it appears the Giants will continue to ease Belt back into action as he recovers from offseason heel surgery and bouts with COVID-19 and mononucleosis. Wilmer Flores will get the start at first for the Giants instead, and will be batting sixth.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
