Brandon Belt Plates Five In Tuesday Win
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt had a huge game at the plate in Tuesday's 10-8 extra-innings win over the Dodgers. Belt went 4-for-5 with a single, a double, two home runs, five RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. He hit a three-run HR off of Julio Urias in the first inning and then hit a solo shot off of Kenley Jansen to tie the game in the ninth inning. The veteran has been heating up with his teammates and now owns a .313/.395/.612 slash line with five HR and 14 RBI. There are plenty of good first base options out there, but Belt could make for a cheap daily fantasy play given his recent hot streak.
