Bucs Optimistic That Mike Evans, Scotty Miller Can Play

4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller (groin, hip) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Bears, while there is also optimism that wide receiver Mike Evans (ankle) can play, according to sources informed of the situation. Both players are listed as questionable. Evans will test out his ankle in pre-game warmups. If active, Evans is tough to sit after going for seven catches, 122 yards and a touchdown last week, especially with Chris Godwin (hamstring) ruled out, but he'll be more of a shaky WR2 for fantasy managers at less than 100 percent against a tough Bears Defense. Against a Chicago team that has yet to allow a score to a receiver through four games, Miller will merely be a deep league flex if Evans is active.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
