6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum could not follow up his heroic play from Game 7 of his club's series with the Nuggets in Tuesday's Game 1 Loss to the Warriors. McCollum scored 19 points on 7-for-19 shooting and added three rebounds with an assist and was a minus-20 when he was on the floor in his 38 minutes. It was a quick turnaround for the Blazers' who arrived directly from Denver and it was evident throughout the night as the Blazers never really got into any groove. McCollum had scored 67 points in his previous two games entering this game, but the length of Klay Thompson proved to be a tough matchup for the shorter McCollum on this night.--Gianni Costantiello
