4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton will have plenty to prove this season and could prove to be an X-factor for the Angels offense. After a 2019 season ravaged by injuries, Upton was mostly healthy during the shortened season in 2020. But the veteran slumped mightily out of the gate, hitting only .099 through the first 20 games and finished the season slashing only .204/.289/.422. Upton enters this year healthy and flying under the radar which could play to his advantage (and possible fantasy managers). Upton has eight seasons of 25-plus home runs and flashed some of that old power in the final 22 games last year, slugging .605 during that stretch with six home runs and 15 runs batted in. If Upton can stay healthy, he has an outside chance at 20 home runs and 70-80 runs batted in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
