7 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) is on track to swing a bat Wednesday and he also did the most since going on the disabled list on Wednesday. He could go on a rehab assignment this weekend. The star shortstop should be ready to go to start the second half of the season, barring any setbacks. The 23-year-old is hitting .268 with 13 home runs, 49 RBI and 46 runs in 73 games and should remain stashed everywhere. Marwin Gonzalez has mainly been filling in at shortstop in Correa's absence.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
