Carlos Correa With Nine K's In Last 21 At-Bats
6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is having a solid season but has not reached the type of elite production fantasy owners have come to expect from the 23-year-old. He has hit some small rough patches at times and currently has struck out nine times in his last 21 at-bats. All is not lost, however, as Correa still has a slugging percentage of .481 and 49 runs driven in this season. But his BB/SO ratio is the furthest apart of his young career through 266 at-bats this season and Correa really has not hit his stride yet. He will, however, have a plus matchup Monday night against the Blue Jays expected starter J.A. Happ. Correa is 4-for-9 lifetime against Happ and is hitting .290 this season against left-handed pitching.
