4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was nowhere near his best in a Week 1 loss to the Washington Football Team. Wentz completed 24 of his 42 passes for 270 yards. He threw two touchdowns and two interceptions. Wentz absorbed an astounding eight sacks and was under pressure seemingly every time he dropped back to pass. Some of the blame goes to the Eagles offensive line, but even when he had time to throw, Wentz wasn't making the throws we're all used to seeing him make. He'll take the field against the Rams next week and hope for better results. He could have starting running back Miles Sanders back for that one.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
