5 years agoUpdating a previous report, New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia (shoulder) suffered a serious shoulder injury in the Game 4 loss to the Astros on Thursday in the American League Championship Series. Manager Aaron Boone said Sabathia's injury is "not good." The left-hander came on in relief and retired two hitters before departing. The future Hall of Famer will likely end his career on that note, unfortunately. The Yankees will look to replace him on the ALCS roster with another relief pitcher most likely.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
