7 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Chris Tillman has elected free agency over a minor league assignment. Tillman declined to pitch in Triple-A Norfolk after being designated for assignment last Friday. He has posted a 8.42 ERA this season, so it's not surprising to see the Orioles letting him go. There is a chance that he lands on another MLB team, but it's highly likely that becomes a useful fantasy pitcher.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
