Cody Bellinger Crushes Two-Run Home Run Monday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman/outfielder Cody Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-2 win over the Rockies to clinch the division. Bellinger got the Dodgers on the board in the fourth inning by destroying a German Marquez 95-mph fastball into the right-field seats. The 23-year-old got over his first-half woes and ended the season with a .260/.343/.470 slash line, 25 HR, 76 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. While his output was relatively disappointing for fantasy owners compared to his rookie season, Bellinger has produced at an impressive mark over his first two seasons and remains a top dynasty league and high-end single season option.
