5 years agoWilliam Byron is making his fourth career Cup Series start at Darlington on Wednesday. In Sunday’s race at the track, Byron led three laps and won the first stage before wrecking and finishing 35th and 14 laps down. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet has one top-10 finish this season and the eighth-most fastest laps (42). Bryon’s best finish in three starts at Darlington is 21st, and he will start 34th in this Wednesday’s race at the track. He will pick up plenty of place differential and displayed speeds in Sunday’s race indicative of challenging for a top-10 finish.
