Dallas Goedert Has Hairline Fracture In Thumb

4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (thumb) suffered a hairline fracture in one of his thumbs at practice this week, but he could be back at practice with a splint as soon as next week. Injuries continue to hamper Goedert, but at least this one won't keep him out for an extended period of time with the regular season quickly approaching. The 25-year-old saw a bigger role in 2019 because of all the injuries to the team's receivers, but he still has a place in this offense despite the presence of Zach Ertz. If you draft Ertz as a top-five TE, it'd be smart to handcuff him with Goedert. He has standalone value as a TE2 even if Ertz remains on the field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
